Brad Smith
With over 32 years of continuous service in the Building and Construction industry, Brad is an experienced dedicated construction technician.
Starting his career in 1990 as an apprentice Carpenter and Joiner, Brad has worked in the Tier 1, 2 and 3 sectors, through multiple project roles culminating as a General Manager of a tier 2 builder/developer. Brad has planned and delivered multiple projects in a wide variety of sectors including Retail, Commercial, Government, Industrial, Infrastructure, Industrial, Engineering, Education, Hospitality and Residential.
Throughout his career, Brad has worked in Sydney, Canberra, Regional NSW and both North and South East Queensland.
Brad has strong analytical skills, with emphasis on the identification of construction techniques, providing a time or cost benefit without quality or safety compromises. He understands a collaborative process and values the experience of all stakeholders to provide an interactive engagement to ensure the successful outcome of any project or undertaking.
Drawing on a wealth of specialist knowledge, Brad assists Clients and the initial design team to develop a projects vision by harnessing great design concepts with practical and commercially advantageous techniques and materials.
With Brad, Clients realise the best for project ECI outcome via true independence of thought, without commercially leveraged agenda’s driven by many Contractors within the marketplace.
Delivering over 100 projects with values from $100k to $750M, Brad understands what is required to successfully complete a project. This earned experience enables Brad to readily identify distressed projects, the root cause of the distress and methods for recovery.
